Mahboobeh Mahdavinia

Mahboobeh (Maha) Mahdavinia, MD., PhD., FAAAAI, is a physician-scientist with a background in immunology of allergic diseases and a PhD in molecular epidemiology. Mahdavinia runs several national and international research collaborations including a large study in South Africa and birth cohorts to understand the pathogenesis of allergic development in early childhood. Her research is focused on the interplay of microbiome and disparity in allergic diseases which have resulted in key publications related to microbiome and health disparity in allergic diseases.
